CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT

CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENTAs the third largest primary health care discipline, Chiropractors focuses on the interrelationship of the nervous system, joints and muscles. Chiropractors specialize in working with your body, to affect the bones, muscles, joints and nerves to help you feel well again and to create optimum health and wellness.

Today's Doctor of Chiropractic is well educated. The science of Chiropractic requires a special emphasis on anatomy, physiology, pathology, neurology, biomechanics, X-ray, spinal adjusting techniques, and related subjects. After approximately 7 years of education, a candidate can receive a doctorate in chiropractic.

To graduate with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, each candidate must pass the demanding National Board Examination, upon passage the doctors sit for and pass a state professional licensing board examination before being granted the privilege of practicing.

A Chiropractic education never ends. A Chiropractor must complete yearly postgraduate instruction for license renewal and for staying current on the latest scientific research.
