TRISHA VOELTZ, PT, DPT

Dr. Voeltz is originally from Rochester, Minnesota. She earned a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2003 and moved on to earn a Doctorate Degree from Duke University in 2008. She has practiced physical therapy in North Carolina, Utah, and Virginia.
The combination of athleticism and medicine is what led her into a career in physical therapy. She was a gymnast for 13 years and then went on to coach adolescent and high school gymnasts. She holds a strong belief that an active lifestyle is important throughout the lifespan.
Specializations
Dr. Voeltz has practiced in a variety of settings including acute care, pediatrics, home health, and orthopaedics. She hopes to pursue further education and specializations in the areas of orthopaedics and manual therapy and plans to combine her love for pediatrics into her orthopaedic career.
Licensing and Memberships
Dr. Voeltz currently holds active physical therapy licenses in North Carolina and Virginia. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as well as the Sports Section of the APTA. She has enjoyed attending the APTA’s annual Combined Sections Meetings in 2008 and 2009 for the purposes of continued education and up-to-date research and practice methods in the field of Physical Therapy.
