Dr. Ward comes from Atlanta, Georgia where he started practicing in 1997. He is an accomplished and caring doctor who has been helping patients get healthy through chiropractic care and physical rehabilitation for years.
Dr. Ward first graduated from the University of Florida in 1993. He then entered chiropractic school and graduated from Life University in 1997 with a doctorate in chiropractic. He has trained extensively in rehabilitation conditioning and the management of injuries.
Specialization
Dr. Ward has a special interest in working with athletes because he is an athlete himself. It is for this reason that he understands the demands an athlete puts on his or her body and their need for special attention. Since graduating from Chiropractic School, Dr. Ward has attained Board Certifications as a strength and conditioning specialist and as a chiropractic sports physician.
Licensing and Membership
Dr. Ward is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine, the District of Columbia Health Department, the Georgia Chiropractic Board of Examiners and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the American Board of Chiropractic Physicians, the Virginia Chiropractic Association, the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the Northern Virginia Chiropractic Association.
Accomplishments
Dr. Ward was awarded the CEO Award through the national breakthrough coaching association in 2006. He has been noted in the who’s who of Northern Virginia in 2004 and 2008 for his practices with the Washington Redskins, the Washington Wizards and the Potomac Professional Rugby League. Dr. Ward appeared as a guest on Channel 9’s “A New Me” to discuss conditions chiropractors typically treat and how many common injuries can occur. Dr. Ward has opened 4 rehabilitation clinics in Northern Virginia and Washington DC.
Lecturer
Dr. Ward is an accomplished Lecturer who has spoken on a number of various topics at many private and community events.
